I must start my rant with Obama's claim of transparency. What kind of bad joke is this? He can't even be transparent during his president elect period. He has already "suffered" more scandals during this time then most Presidents ever do in office. The only issue i wish to address here today is Mr. Timothy Geithner.
Mr. Geithner who is being called the only person able to understand the TARP funds and is treated as if he is the only person skilled enough to get us out of a bad economy failed to pay his taxes correctly for 2001 and 2002. This was brought to his attention in 2006 when he was audited by the IRS and still failed to pay it. Only when he was being vetted in November did he feel a need to pay all his taxes. Ok so here is the "economic genius" that is going to save our economy who can't file his own taxes right?!?
How can this be? Either Geithner is not the genius that the Obama team is claiming OR i think that he must be a cheat and liar. Either way is this who we want to run our countries tax collecting agancy? A man who can't get it right?
Second has to be the stimulus plan. Obama and his congressional lap dogs are declairing any attempt by the Republicans to slow or even stop this as being bad. Its like they are saying 'How dare you hold up the Great Ones plans'! I for one find it a joke for the Dems to just expect the Republican party to role over and play dead. Its called the opposition party for a reason!!! They are suppose to Oppose the nutty ideas of the majority. This isn't a parlimentary system where the majorty rules we are suppose say NO to ideas that will hurt this country. Trying to help out the American people is a good thing but actions have consequences and the ones that Obamas Masses want will HURT the country! The Demis want to push through $800 billion dollars as if it was nothing and they want to do it quickly. Why? Because they don't want you to see all the trash and waste going into the bill. We clearly need to bring a frew simi trucks worth of bbq sauce for all that Pork that will be going into this bill.
The process of making laws was designed by the founding fathers to be slow and noisy. We are suppose to debate issues not just follow blindly!!! If we were to do that why don't we just appoint a new king? Every time we just rush a bill through congress disaster happens. Im thinking of you TARP funds!!!
We the People must rise up in one Voice and Say NO we will not stand for the Great One and his faithful Dems to bankrupt this country! Spending this much $$$ the country does not have will endanger our national security not strength in it.
And finally the final rant for now. What happen to listening to alternative ideas? An idea was given that instead of using the $350 billion bail out funds why not give the American people a tax holiday? You want to fix the economy? The best way is to get money in the hands of the People not the government. Why should congress and the pres tell us who will fail, who will succede and who will be kept trapped in the middle?
